Aaron Keller

Athlete | Wapwallopen, Pennsylvania
Aaron Keller.jpeg

Aaron Keller started with Special Olympics as a long distance walker and after years of practice, recently recorded a personal best of 22:40 running the 5k. Since he began competing, Special Olympics has provided him a place to succeed and helped him find the courage to join his high school track & field team. He considers his former coach at Crestwood High, Rob Moulton, his role model and Aaron was named the school’s Most Improved Runner in his senior year. During the summer, Aaron works as a counselor at Camp Orchard and hopes to become a pastor. In his spare time, Aaron assists the youth at his church, volunteers as a cross country coach at Crestwood and hangs out with friends. Special Olympics has taken him to places he never dreamed possible. Without his coaches, Marty and Kelly, he said he'd still be on the couch.
