Tasha Crofton is a Medical Assistant and mother to two awesome kids when she is not on the basketball court. According to Tasha, discovering Special Olympics has changed her life by introducing her to athletes, partners and coaches who have big, kind, caring hearts. She credits the program for transforming her son, Sawne's, life as well. At first, she just cheered for Sawne from the sidelines, but about five years ago, she began playing Unified basketball as a partner. Being selected to represent the USA at Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019 is a dream come true for Tasha and her son. "It means experiencing something we will share together forever," says Tasha.
