Cameron McClelland is from sunny Port Orange, Florida where he is a teacher and coach at Spruce Creek High School. He has been married to his beautiful wife for 12 years and they have two children. Cameron has been involved with Special Olympics since 2002. The sports he has coached during his tenure include swimming, stand up paddleboard (SUP), bocce, basketball, and cycling. He is beyond excited about the opportunity to represent Special Olympics USA on the world stage. When he is not coaching Special Olympics, he is heading up the Spruce Creek High School softball team, assisting with the high school's football team, coaching in the local Parks & Rec leagues, and coaching his son's Lightning travel baseball team. When he has free time, he loves to camp with his family, go to the beach, and grill n' chill at home. The quote he lives by is, "There are only two kinds of days; good days and GREAT days!"
