Kate Bove has been a part of Special Olympics Vermont for nearly 20 years competing in athletics, swimming, cross country skiing, basketball and bocce. Kate has also represented Vermont and Special Olympics USA at the 2003 World Games in Dublin and 2014 USA Games in New Jersey. Outside of her training schedule, Kate enjoys being a Global Messenger and participates in Athlete Leadership. In her spare time, Kate is a volunteer at a local refugee shelter and actively seeks opportunities to give back to her community. Kate is proud of her many accomplishments within the Special Olympics movement, especially being named the Special Olympics Vermont 2014 Female Athlete of the year. Kate is excited to represent Special Olympics USA proudly in Abu Dhabi!
