Sarah Gaudio of Peoria, Arizona, has competed in Special Olympics for more than 12 years, participating in basketball, soccer, softball and swimming. She will represent Special Olympics USA in basketball. Through Special Olympics, Sarah has learned to be a team player, maintaining her calm in competition. In 2022, Sarah represented Arizona in the Special Olympics USA Games. She has worked hard to achieve her goal of attending the Special Olympics World Games.
Sarah is employed at Goodwill Industries, where she helps to accept donations and work the cash register. In her free time, she likes to hike and ride her bike. Preparing for the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023, she practices regularly and frequents the gym. She is ready to show the world what she is capable of accomplishing.
