Taylor Lifgren of Peoria, Arizona, has competed as a Unified partner with Special Olympics Arizona for the past two years. As a Unified partner, she competed in the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games. In the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023, she will represent Special Olympics USA in basketball. Through Special Olympics, Taylor has learned much from the athletes she competes alongside, maintaining a sense of positivity in any situation. For Taylor, she feels proudest in watching athletes achieve their goals.
Taylor is employed at the Western Kierland Golf Club as a tournament coordinator. In her free time, she enjoys practicing basketball, working out and running. She greatly admires her Aunt Mary for her selflessness, giving her all to others with a smile on her face. Channeling that positivity, Taylor is grateful for the opportunity to join Special Olympics USA.
