Terry Saharski of Franklin, Tennessee, has served on the Special Olympics Tennessee Board of Directors for 14 years. Volunteering at as many events as possible, Terry supports athletics events in the Special Olympics Tennessee Summer Games and mentors a Special Olympics athlete, who recently joined their board of directors. He will represent Special Olympics USA as a caddie in golf. Being part of Special Olympics has enriched his life, making him more aware of the absolute need to help individuals with disabilities in enriching their lives.

He most admires his wife, Jackie, who is a loving mother to their daughter Jordan. Now retired, he plays golf whenever he can and enjoys working outside in the yard. Every week, he attempts to walk 100,000 steps, part of his training regimen for attending the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023. He is proud to represent Special Olympics USA and support the many athletes competing.
