Alek Vujanov of Phoenix, Arizona, has been Special Olympics athlete for 15 years, training and competing in volleyball, basketball, swimming, and golf. Special Olympics has changed Alek's life by allowing him the opportunity to socialize and meet friends from all over the world. He previously represented Special Olympics Arizona at the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games in Unified basketball.
Alek loves video games and movies and owns more than 300 movies. He also donates his time by volunteering at the local food bank. He looks forward to representing Special Olympics USA and Special Olympics Arizona in showing the world what people with intellectual disabilities are capable of.
