Jenny Lara of Phoenix, Arizona, became involved with Special Olympics thanks to her son, Drew, becoming an athlete 16 years ago. Special Olympics has brought relationships, respect, empathy and humbleness to her and her family's lives.
In preparation for her trip, Jenny has started learning Polish and looks forward to representing her country.
