Joe Ippolito of Phoenix, Arizona, has been a Special Olympics Unified partner for seven years, competing in basketball and volleyball. Special Olympics has helped show Joe the power of inclusion, resilience and the joy of helping others reach their full potential.
A cancer survivor, Joe volunteers his time as a mentor for others going through treatment and with the Lymphoma Research Foundation. He spends his free time coaching his son's soccer team.
