Joel Nathanson of Phoenix, Arizona, has coached Special Olympics for 14 years and became a Unified partner seven years ago. Being on the volleyball court with his team has helped Joel become more present in the moment; Special Olympics is his greatest joy.
When Joel is not running his many businesses or volunteering in his community, he loves creating and staying active through hiking, running, biking and more.
Joel looks forward to traveling and competing with his team, proving to the world that everyone wants the same thing: to be seen, heard and feel safe.
