Mariah Berryhill of Phoenix, Arizona, has been a Special Olympics athlete since 2005 and has trained and competed in basketball, volleyball, kayaking, powerlifting and speed skating. She credits Special Olympics with changing her life by offering her acceptance for who she is.
A student at East Valley Institute of Technology, Mariah enjoys watching Netflix with her dogs, painting, gardening and dancing in her spare time. She looks forward to representing her Program and country in Poland, a moment she's been training for all her life.
