Teresa Scobee of Phoenix, Arizona, has volunteered with Special Olympics for more than 16 years and has been vital to the growth of Special Olympics volleyball within Arizona. In addition to supporting Special Olympics programming locally, Teresa has served as a Unified Sports Observer for volleyball at several global events, including the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023.
Special Olympics is a passion for Teresa's entire family - her husband and three children are frequent volunteers and credit Special Olympics for broadening their horizons and creating a treasure trove of memories.
Teresa enjoys spending time with her family and has amassed 10 solo flight hours in a Cessna 152.
