Jennifer Chalmers of West Lafayette, Indiana, became involved with Special Olympics 18 years ago when her nephew joined as an athlete. Since then, Jennifer has been a Unified partner, coach and mentor with Athlete Leadership University. This is Jennifer’s first time at a global Special Olympics competition and she is excited to bring their all-female team to show how Special Olympics is building a more inclusive world for women and girls.
When not volunteering with Special Olympics, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews.
