Renee Anne Phifer was born in Phoenix, Arizona. She is currently 15 years old and attends Santa Fe High School in Alachua, Florida. Renee loves horses, is bright, silly, creative, and loves animals. She would like to own a horse someday. She is also a Bits-N-Spurs 4H member in Alachua and an FFA member showing calves with her high school team. Renee is in the Animal Science program at school and wants to works with animals as a career. She began riding at Stirrups-N-Strides at age eight. After a few lessons she began showing horses and did well her first season as she is naturally talented at riding. After her father passed, she moved cross country, causing her to be away from Special Olympics for a few years. She returned last year, and has a passion for horses and feels most confident when dressed in her riding and show attire.
