Robert “Robbie” Wilson of New York, New York, has competed in Special Olympics for the past four years in athletics, basketball, floor hockey and soccer. He will represent Special Olympics USA in soccer. A high school student at 721M, Bobby competes with the City Hawks Unified Training Club soccer team. Through Special Olympics, Robbie has made new friends and takes great pride in his City Hawks teammates. Competing in the New York City Region Fall Invitational & Inclusion Cup and Long Island Region Fall Classic with Special Olympics New York, the City Hawks won gold in both.
Robbie is thankful for his coaches, who have provided the opportunity for him to play for his school. He is looking forward to playing for his country at the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023.
