Halladay White of Columbia, Tennessee, has been involved with Special Olympics for 12 years in Alpine skiing, athletics, basketball, bowling, flag football, golf, snowboarding, soccer and swimming. She will represent Special Olympics USA in swimming. A certified Global Messenger, she serves as an advocate for Special Olympics, speaking to the impact that her experiences have had on her life. Through Special Olympics, she has improved her social skills and is more open to meeting new people.

Halladay attends The King’s Daughter’s School, a residential school for individuals with disabilities. She is employed at Thrift Love, a nonprofit thrift store serving the special needs community through sustainable, mentored employment. Her interests include reading, sewing and crafting. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Halladay looks forward to meeting new people, competing and trying new foods in her Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 experience.
